Training in Roofing, Labouring & Green Initiatives for a Changing Industry
GLA Group delivers practical, accredited training for people furthest from the labour market, including people on probation, ex-offenders, young offenders, youth justice, the long-term unemployed, and those new to the industry.
Since 2019, we’ve delivered high-impact programmes in prisons, job centres, and community settings across the UK. Our training is designed by people with real construction experience and tailored to meet the urgent skills shortages in the construction sector.
Our aim is simple: to equip learners with industry-recognised skills, connect them to employment opportunities, and build a more inclusive, sustainable workforce.
How We Support Our Learners
Our programmes are built for long-term success:
Financial Support: PPE, tools, CSCS cards, and travel expenses are covered when required.
Holistic Support: Referrals to housing, mental health, and recovery services.
Employment Brokerage: Job interviews arranged with real employers, in partnership with Prison Employment Leads. Contact us for info.
Flexible Delivery: Courses delivered inside HMPs, through DWP, or in local communities.
